Lizzy Chapman
Certified Instructor
BASI
Lizzy was first introduced to Pilates while studying classical ballet in Fort Worth in the early 2000's as a means to cross train, increase muscle efficiency and strengthen her body in a completely different way than any dance class ever could. After graduating from the University of South Carolina with her degree in advertising and psychology, Lizzy became interested in muscle movement, alignment, and exercise to get her body moving outside of her office job. After finding barre classes in 2013, she began teaching them just one year later. The balance of ballet, pilates, and yoga moves gave her the confidence and body awareness she had craved from her former dance classes.
Wanting to explore fitness even further, Lizzy turned once again to the fundamentals of Pilates and completed the BASI Comprehensive Teacher Training program in 2021. Her hope is that each client is able to see the difference in how their body responds to Pilates movements, create an overall better understanding of their alignment, and find that each class is unique for them. Lizzy lives in Fort Worth with her husband Philip and their dog, Remi.
